Order Blueberries Here
It’s Blueberry Time again and this year we will have them available for pick up at our shoppe. We will also have Cobbler Kits again. For those of you that have never tried a Cobbler Kit, you really must. It contains pre-measured and pre-mixed dry ingredients and instructions to make my mother’s famous cobbler. You will need to provide some additional ingredients and your own berries. Blueberries are wonderful in this recipe, but just about any berry that pairs well with cinnamon and sugar will also be fabulous.
Berries are packaged in 5 pound containers (approx. 7 pints). You can make two cobblers with one container. The berries that you will get will be delivered to Cakedoodles within 24 hours of being picked. That makes them perfect for freezing. They are also perfect for baking, eating, ice cream making, wine making, natural food coloring, still life painting (okay, maybe I’m getting a little carried away). What I mean to say is…Blueberries are PERFECT!!!
Use the form below to order yours for this weeks run. Blueberries will be available for pick up on Thursday, July 10, 2014 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Cakedoodles, 782 S. Brewster Road, Suite A5, Vineland, NJ. Berries ordered must be picked up at this time. If you order berries, you are obligated to pay for them. Please do not order if you do not have the availability to pick them up. I will be posting additional pick up dates weekly.
One last tidbit…Beginning next week, Cakedoodles will be making blueberry cobblers available for pick up each Friday and Saturday throughout the growing season (until mid July). 8″ x 8″ cobblers are $12. and 9″ x 13″ cobblers are $18. Call 609 364-5778 by the preceding Wednesday to order yours.
